두 개의 동으로 이루어진 여의도 현대캐피탈 사옥 옥상에 사원들을 위한 야외휴식공간을 조성하였다. 바쁜 일상에서 잠시 벗어나 운동, 일광욕, 식물감상 등을 즐길 수 있는 장소이며, 기존의 화물운반용 레일을 재활용하여 설치한 ‘움직이는 회의실’에서는 패달을 밟아 돌아가며 주변풍광을 조망할 수 있다. 야간에는 실뜨기를 형상화한 녹색 레이저 광선이 두 건물 사이를 교차하며 비추어 시민들에게 특별한 경험을 제공한다.
DJHA designed open-air gardens on the rooftops of the twin Hyundai Captial Headquarter buildings in Seoul. The garden aims to be a playground for the Captal’s employees where they can enjoy physical exercise, sunbathing, and greenery. They can also overlook the surrounding scenery while pedaling the blue ‘mobile conference rooms’ along the edges of the gardens. At night, green laser beams cross between the buildings making the image of cat’s cradle in the sky.
