이삼화는 고려대 건축학과를 졸업하고 류춘수 건축가가 이끄는 이공건축에서 실무를 익혔다. 2015년에 곳디자인을 창설하며 독립건축가의 길을 가기 시작했다. 황두진건축과는 2022년부터 설계 및 감리에 대한 기술 자문으로 인연을 맺었으며, 2023년 8월부터 사외 부소장으로 근무중이다. 두 아이의 아버지이며 지혜와 위트가 담긴 글쓰기가 취미다.
Lee, Samhwa majored in architecture at Korea University. Having gained professional experience at Beyond Space Group, led by architect Ryu, Choonsoo, he founded his own practice, Gott Design in 2000. Lee started to be professionally affiliated with DJHA in 2022 as a technical advisor on architectural practice. He became Outside Vice Director of DJHA in August 2023. Father of two children, Lee loves to write essays with wisdom and wit.
