이 프로젝트는 정부의 행정복합도시 건설계획에 따른 현상설계의 응모안이다. 자연과 인공, 다양한 스케일과 속도의 극적인 대비를 통해 도시는 미래가 요구할 복합성에 부응한다. 배치는 강력한 구심성을 지니며 자연, 주거, 문화, 상업, 행정기관 등이 긴장감있게 형성된다.
Our proposal for Korea’s New Multi-functional Admistrative City, MAC, has no historical precedents in terms of: scale, form, ideas, references, and philosophical backgraound. A complex and compound synthesis based on architectural-urban continuum, it defines and is defied by a totally new approach in building a city.
